Rita Leonard (née Mannion),

Derreen, Ballinagare and formerly of Ballyglass, Ballinagare, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - peacefully, with her family by her side, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Aras Mhathair Phoil, Castlerea.

October 8th, 1943 – December 9th, 2023

Pre-deceased by her husband William, daughter Bernie Kelly and her sister May McManus.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughter Linda Staunton, (Bekan, Claremorris), sisters Teresa O’Connor, Eileen Darcy and Nancy Mannion, grandchildren Marie, Sarah, Stephen and Bernie, Rachel, Shane, Clare and Lisa, sons-in-law Seamus and Michael, brother-in-law Martin, niece, nephew, grand nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Rita will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Frenchpark on Monday from 4.30pm. Removal at 6.30pm to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ballinagare arriving at 7pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 11.30am, with the funeral proceeding to Drummin cemetery.
