Catherine McCarthy née McGuire,

Knockaphunta Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and late of Dooriel, Ballycroy (7th December 2023) - peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Jim, brothers James, Steve, Paddy, Brian, Anthony and Kevin, sisters Mary- Ellen, Anne and Noreen.

Lovingly remembered by her daughters Ellen and Kay, son Justin, sister’s Bridget and Margaret, brother Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Martha, grandchildren Cáit, Áine, Aoife, Lorna, Emer, Kate and Ronan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle Soul rest in peace.

Catherine will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar (F23 XY63) on Sunday (10th December) from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to St. Aloysius Church, Breaffy, Castlebar.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon.

Catherine will be laid to rest afterwards in Ballycroy Cemetery.

Requiem Mass will be streamed live at http://www.churchtv.ie/breaffy or listened to in Castlebar on the Parish Radio Channel 105.3FM
