Rita Gibbons,

Toorglas, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully on her 55th birthday surrounded by her loving family on 23rd November 2023.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Beatrice Gibbons.

Beloved sister of Martin (Corclough West, Belmullet), Georgie (Toorglas, Belmullet), Francie (Toorglas, Belmullet), Paddy Joe (Corclough East, Belmullet), Michael (Belmullet), John (Corclough East, Belmullet) and Ella (Corclough East, Belmullet).

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her brother-in-law Richard Ivers, sisters-in-law Marie, Kathleen, Sheila, Majella, uncle George, nephews, nieces, grandnephew, many friends at the Western Care Day Centre and Group Home, kind neighbours and many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday afternoon from 3 o’clock until 5 o’clock.

Funeral will arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Belmullet on Sunday for Mass of the Angels at 10.30 followed by committal service at Glencastle New Cemetery.

House Strictly Private on Sunday morning.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the “Western Care - Belmullet Group Home”, c/o McDonnell Funeral Directors, Belmullet.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on Sunday morning at 10.30 on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with all other funeral services available for viewing on Sunday evening at 7 o’clock.
