Dooagh, Achill and late of Crumpaun, Keel, Achill (16th November 2023) - at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her parents John and Annie McCarthy.

Deeply regretted by her husband Thomas, brother Denis (Cleveland, USA), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Achill Sound on Saturday evening from 5 o’clock with removal at 6.30 to St. Patrick’s Church, Pollagh.

Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30 with the funeral proceeding to Slievemore Cemetery.

Chris was the first Cook at St Colmans when the meals and wheels started in the 80s.

Always diligent and professional in her work but moreover so friendly in the kitchen and a great work colleague.
We always got feedback that Chris’ dinners, especially the Christmas dinner, were out of this world and unequalled.
