Margaret Canny nee Heskin, 

Hillcrest, Claremorris and formerly Glencorrib, Shrule, Co. Mayo.

Margaret passed away peacefully at the Mayo Hospice.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas and her parents Stephen and Margaret and her sisters Delia, Nora and Carmel, brothers Tony and Tom. 

Dearly loved mum to Stephen, sadly missed by her loving sisters Maura and Nell, brothers Frank and Patrick, her sisters-in-laws, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.  

Margaret’s remains will repose at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74)  on Friday evening, 17th November from 6pm until 8pm.

Remains will arrive to St. Colman’s Church, Claremorris on Saturday afternoon, 18th November for Funeral Mass at 1pm.

Burial afterwards in Kilmaine cemetery. 

Funeral mass will be live streamed on You Tube “Claremorris Church Live” https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXznV-Kn2sVij_zi3fZun6w or listened to on local parish radio on 106f.m.

Offering my condolences to you all. Auntie Margaret was a major part of my childhood when growing up in Longsight. And I have fond memories of visiting Navan and staying there for a couple of weeks. Many years later I visited on my honeymoon and had the same welcome and reception. A warm and lovely person that will not be forgotten.
