Tommy McDermott,

Cloonlough, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon - peacefully, at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on November 11th, 2023.

Loving husband of Joan and father to John (Letterkenny), Catherine (Leahy, Galway), Tommy (Ballinlough), Michael (London), Brian (Athenry) and Martin (Ballinlough).

Tommy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, his daughter and his sons, his adored grandchildren; Michelle, Daniel, Shane, Leah, Kate, Aoife, Conor, Derbhla, Aishling, Sinead, Ciara, Michael, Emma and Keelan. Great-grandchildren; Ailbie and Evie. Also, by his sister Nancy (Flynn, Ballinlough), daughters-in-law; Gráinne, Linda, Marian, Melissa and Niamh, son-in-law Brian. Nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock.

Funeral arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough on Tuesday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Ballinlough cemetery. 

Tommy’s Funeral Mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed on www.mcdonaghfuneraldirectors.ie/live-stream.
