Sylvester Thomas McGuinness – known as Sylvie or ‘Mac’.

Originally from Ballyhamuck, Crossmolina, late of Crumlin, South Wales.

Passed peacefully in hospital after a short illness on 13th September. 

Loving partner of Beth, father to Anthony and grandad to Scarlett. Son of the late Anthony and Annie, brother of the late Mary, Bernie, Monica, Tony, Sean, Kathleen and recently deceased Paddy. 

Deeply mourned by his partner Beth, son Anthony, granddaughter Scarlett, loving sisters Carmel Madeley (Manchester), Christine Carney (Knock), Pauline Ball (Knock), and Eddie (Luton), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends. 

May he Rest in Peace 

Sylvie was cremated in South Wales. His ashes are coming home to his final resting place. 

Requiem Mass at St. Tiernan's Church, Crossmolina on Saturday 4th Nov at 11am.  Burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery.  Mass can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/crossmolina.
