Mary Kate Geraghty nee Philbin,

Skehanagh, Ballintubber, Claremorris, Co. Mayo - peacefully in her home in her 99th year, after a short illness.

Pre-deceased by her husband Peter, parents Patrick and Margaret (nee Donnelly), brothers John Joe and Paddy and cherished grandson Colm.

She will be very sadly missed by her children, Sean (Castlebar), Peter (Galway), Padraig (Hawaii), Gerry (Chicago), Martin (Ballintubber),  Noel (Sydney), Marian (Cong) and Margaret (Ennis), daughters-in-law Anne, Freddie, Catherine, Karla, Maggi and Sue, sons-in-law Pat and Mark, beloved grandchildren Yvonne, Lorna, Niall, Maeve, Delaney, Declan, Siobhan, Conor, Raymond, Danny, Joseph, Hugh, Noel, Fionn, Dane, Jessica, Dannielle, Ashley-May, James, Sarah, Rosin and Katie and precious great-grandchildren George, Páidí and Croía, sisters-in-law Nan Geraghty (Castlebar) and Sarah Philbin (Rochester, USA), nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at Ballintubber Resource Centre on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 7.30.

Removal from her family home on Friday to Ballintubber Abbey for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
