Patrick John McAndrew,

Derby and formerly of Townaugh, Bangor Erris, Co. Mayo, Ireland - passed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital on 5th October 2023 surrounded by all of his family aged 89 years. 

He will be sadly missed by his surviving children Margaret, Seamus and Sean and his sister Bridget, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughter-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at St Mary's Church, Bridgegate, Derby DE1 3AX on Friday, 27th October at 10am followed by interment at Ockbrook Cemetery, Balmoral Road, Borrowash.

Family flowers only please but donations in lieu for The MND Association may be sent c/o J Barlow and Family Funeral Service.

A kind and gentle hardworking person who was so well respected for his charitable and passionate care to all who may have had problems or injustices committed against them. I have so many fond memories of him, particularly the celebration of his 60th. Birthday in the Irish Centre In Derby. Where his family paid so many wonderful tributes to him as did some of the six who he staunchly fought for and they paid their tributes that night as well.
