Catherine (Kitty) Finn nee Stephens,

Kings Heath, Birmingham and formerly of Grallagh, Ballyvary and Kilnock, Brickens - peacefully after a short illness in her 100th Year.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Mick (Kilnock, Brickens), sisters Margaret, Sarah, Mary, Nora, Eileen and Bridget, brothers Frank and Johnny, nieces Sedella and Bernadette and nephew John.

Devoted and adored mother of Celine and Jon, much loved sister of Martin (Castlebar), sister-in-laws Sarah and Bridgie, brother-in-law Francis, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, kind neighbours and a wide circle of wonderful friends in the UK and Ireland.

Funeral arriving at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Straide on Friday, 22nd of September for Mass at 7 o'clock.

Requiem Mass will take place at St. Therese's Church, Brickens on Saturday, 23rd September at 1 o'clock with funeral proceeding to Tulrahan Cemetery.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Kitty. Her arrival in Kilnock at the beginning of June every year heralded the beginning of the summer and her departure in September reminded us that it was Autumn. We looked forward to her visits over the years and had many hours of conversations and laughter together. She was great fun and had a great interest in everyone. The children of the village loved visiting her and she always had treats for them. She brought joy to every home she visited and will be greatly missed.
