Kieran Thompson,

Newport House, Newport, Co. Mayo - peacefully, at his residence. 

Predeceased by Thelma, brothers Antony and Jack and his sister Maura.

Deeply loved and regretted by wife Catherine, sons Karl and Kieran, daughter Kathrine Ann, son-in-law Rob, sister Eily, grandchildren Kayla, Jay, Constantinos and Odysseas; nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and his wide circle of friends.  

Rest In Peace Kieran.

Funeral Mass for the repose of Kieran’s soul will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, Newport (F28 HF96) on Tuesday, 12th September at 11am with burial afterwards in Annagh cemetery, Glenhest (F28 X045).

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Kieran. I made several visits to his fabulous and enchanting home, from the Virgin Islands, over the years and loved being there with him more and more on each ensuing visit. Also loved his beautiful and charming hostess, Catherine Flynn, and the wonderful all around man, Karl. They are also sadly missed. I was last there in 2016 with friends to celebrate my 75th birthday. Now in my 84th year and so sorry to never being able to return. God bless Kieran in heaven, Catherine and Karl.
