Evelyn Gallagher (née Higgins),

Tulleague, Killasser, Swinford, Co. Mayo - peacefully at St.  Attracta’s Nursing Home, Charlestown surrounded by her family on 25th of August 2023.

Predeceased by her loving husband Patrick John and daughters Gerty and Margaret.

Deeply regretted by her family, daughters: Nuala, Dervilla, Deirdre, sons: A.J. ,Aidan, P.J. , Charles, daughters in-law, sons in law, and her 15 adored grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and all of her extended and much loved family, neighbours and friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Boland’s Funeral Home, Swinford ( F12K122) this Sunday evening, 27th August from 4 o’clock to 7 o’clock with removal to All Saints Church, Killasser to arrive at 7.30 pm.

Funeral Mass this Monday, 28th August at 2 o’clock in All Saints Church, Killasser with burial immediately afterwards in Kilconduff Cemetery, Swinford.

She was a very kind woman and had a great sense of humour. I was made feel very welcome in her home. She will be greatly missed now by all her family. I know the loss of her daughters before her was a very heavy burden and I attended the funeral of one of them in Galway. Evelyn was one of the salt of them earth and had left behind a lovely family. I know we all will hold her memory dear.
