Quay Road, Westport - August 16th 2023 - peacefully at University Hospital Galway - surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Brodie and Bea Walsh and his nephew Patrick Hopkins.

John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Maureen (nee Munnelly), daughter Karen and son Sean, daughter-in-law Corinna, granddaughters Ellie & Naoise, his sisters Mary Hopkins (Westport), Ann McIntyre (Charlestown), Breege Walsh (Mayo Abbey) & Edel (Castlebar), brothers Gerard & Bob (Westport), sisters-in-law,  brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at McGing's Funeral Home, Westport (F28 RX58) on Friday evening (August 18th) from 5 o’clock with removal at 6.30 to St. Mary's Church, Westport.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to Aughavale Cemetery.
