Martin McManamon,

Bracklough, Glenhest, Newport, Co. Mayo - peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital on 27th July in the company of his loving family.

Predeceased by his sister Ita Healy and his granddaughter Anna O’Connell.

Martin will be sadly missed by his loving wife Agnes, son Alfred (Glenhest), daughters Mary O’Connell (Kilcoona) and Clare Greaney (Carnmore), sisters Anne Coady (Glenhest), Bridie Lavelle
(Westport), Philomena Lawless (Turlough), Mary Kelly (London), daughter in law Claire, sons in law John and Sean and his adored grandchildren Aoibhinn, Lucy, Jennifer, Roisin, Eli, Sam, Amy and
Saoirse. Deeply regretted by his brothers in law Charles Healy, Michael Joe Lavelle and Tommy Lawless, nieces, nephews and all other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Glenhest Community Centre (Eircode F28 P9P7) on Sunday evening from 5pm until 7pm.

Removal from his residence on Monday morning for Funeral Mass at 12 in St. Joseph’s Church, Glenhest with burial afterwards in Annagh cemetery.

Glenhest has lost one of the best. Am so sorry to hear of Martin's passing. A wonderful family friend, neighbour and community man. Martin could turn his hand to anything and one would be sure the job was done right. Many a story he told in our house over the years. I will fondly remember him for his kind nature and all he has done down through the years. A man great for documenting and dating things as they were done. I have the privilege of having his initials and the date July 1997 engraved on the wall at my house.
