Mary Higgins nee Tierney

Luí na Gréine, Claremorris and formerly of Roundfort and Tullyduff, Kilmaine, Co. Mayo – peacefully at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her husband, Thomas, (Tommy), her brother, John Pa and brother-in-law, Maurice (Chicago). Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Tom (Tullyduff) and Liam (Chicago), her daughters-in-law, Evelyn and Mary, sister, Evelyn Fitzgerald (Chicago) sister-in-law, Mary Jo Tierney (Roundfort), her grandchildren, Noel (Louise), Paul (Shanna), Lisa Higgins, Siobhan (Martin) Campbell and Liam Higgins (Chicago). Aunt of Marie McCormack, Josie McNamara, Patricia Tierney, Martina Hughes, Irene Moran, Sean Tierney, Kevin Tierney, Kevin Fitzgerald (Chicago), Mary Naughton, Martina Flannery and Ann Mahon. Great grandmother of Anthony, Isla, Nathan & Abbie Higgins. Her family are most grateful to her carers.

Reposing at Kilmaine Community Centre(F31 RC95) on Sunday evening from 6 o’clock until 7.30 with removal afterwards to St., Patrick's Church, Kilmaine (F31 A348) 

Mass of the Resurrection on Monday (17th July) at 12 noon, with funeral then proceeding to the New Cemetery, Kilmaine.

Mass will be streamed live on Flanagan Funeral Directors Facebook page
