Michael Joseph Vesey,

Livonia, Michigan and formerly of Chicago, Illinois and Dugort, Achill Island, Co. Mayo - July 11th 2023 - passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife of 50 years, Kathleen (English) at his side.

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his family and friends. He truly loved each of them. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.

Michael is predeceased by his father, John Denis, mother, Ellen,sisters, Norah, Bridget, Eileen, Celia, brothers Dominick, Patrick and Sean, and nephew Tom.

Survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen, children Eileen, Brian, Stephen(Kate), Sean, adored grandchildren Fitzgerald, Clara, and Eleanora, sister Kathleen (Vesey) Tipping, and sisters-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

May his kind and generous soul rest forever in eternal peace.

Visitation on Sunday July 16th 2023, from 2 o’clock until 7 o’clock at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N Cicero Avenue, Chicago, IL 60646. 

Funeral Mass on Monday morning July 17th 2023 at 10.30 in St. Padre Pio Parish Church of St. Hilary, 5613 N. Chicago, IL 60659 followed by interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
