Mary Sweeney née Comer,

Ballyhale, Headford, Co. Galway. 

Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of Mayo Hospice on July 10th, 2023. 

Predeceased by her husband Thomas, her sister Bridie, her brothers Jimmy, Frank, Paddy & Michael. 

Sadly missed and always remembered by her children, John, Jimmy, MaryAnne & Martina, her daughters in law, Betty & Bernie, her son-in-law Benny, her brothers Bernie, Ollie & Kieran (Boston), her sisters-in-law, Kathleen, Catherine, Mary Ellen & Mary (Australia), her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews as well as her friends and neighbours. 

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Ryders Funeral Home, Headford on Wednesday evening from 6pm-8pm. 
Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Headford for Requiem Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in Cloughanover Cemetery.
