Roonith, Carrowniskey, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo (July 9th, 2023) - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his baby son Desmond-Gerard. 

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen (née Keane), daughter Marie Flannery (Dublin), sons Pat (Manchester), Don (Boston) and Ed (Roonith), brothers James and Eddie, sisters Anne and Nora, grandchildren Lucas & Leo Flannery, Niamh & Conor O' Malley, James & Abby O' Malley, son-in-law Shane, daughters-in-law Yvonne & Tricia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended O'Malley & Keane Families, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May He Rest In Peace

Des will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Tuesday evening (July 11th) from 5.00pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7.00pm.

Funeral arriving to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen on Wednesday for 12 noon Mass of the Resurrection, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Order of Malta, Louisburgh, c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh.
