Rostigue, Clogher, Claremorris, Co. Mayo and formerly of Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.
Former member of the Irish Defence Force, 5th and 1st Infantry Battalion - peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Alan will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Christina, daughter, Tracey and son Barry. Grand-children, Ariana, Jamie and Micheal. daughter in law Ashling. Deeply regretted by his sister, Josie and her husband Alan, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.
Remains reposing at Carnacon Community Centre on Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 2.30pm in St. Mary's Church, Carnacon with burial afterwards in Burriscarra cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
House strictly private.
