Annie Gallagher

Bollinglanna, Currane, Achill – peacefully at St. Brendan’s Nursing Unit, Mulranny.

Reposing at Casadh An Taoille, Currane on Sunday evening from 5.30 with removal at 7 o’clock to Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Pollranny Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Muintir A Chorran Facebook page

So sad to hear of Annies passing ,and another shinning light of one of Bollinglanna's oldest families turned off . Sincere and deepest sympathy to Patricia and all her remaining relatives and friends at home and "abroad" . Remembeting Annie an a lovely and gentle woman with her renowned, familiar and perpetual smile.She lived a secluded and humble life amongst her own people caring for her parents and brother Pat. Reflecting on times past I remember Annie during the long winter nights and my Xmas time in Currane , Her visits to "Poll an Bhroic" with her Bolllinglanna neighbours visiting her relatives and friends on the opposite side of the village, No Public lights or outside lights , no tarred road surface, Just the moonlight or a a bicycle torch. May Annie and deceased members of her family rest in peace.
