Margaret Gallagher, San Francisco, California and formerly of Ballintadder, Carracastle, Co. Mayo on February 23rd 2023.

Predeceased by her parents Matthew and Bridget, brother James and Michael (Dublin)

Margaret will be sadly missed by her brother Lawrence (Ballintaddar) sister-in-law Bridie, nephews Michael, Lawrence and Kevin – niece Angela Flynn (Tubbercurry), nephew-in-law Anthony, grandnephews Evan and Charlie and grandnieces Lucy, Sofia and Kylie, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gently soul rest in peace.

Mass of cremains on Saturday July 1st at 12 o’clock in St. James’s Church, Carracastle with burial of cremated remains in adjoining cemetery.

Margaret, on June 26th every year on June the 26th I rang you for your birthday. This past Monday on June the 26th it was with a heavy heart my husband, Larry & I were on a plane from Albany, NY to attend your funeral this Saturday, July 1st. We were childhood friends and neighbours. Walked to and from Tonroe School every day. Later we cycled to and from the Convent daily. We used to go to Tom Finn's well for buckets of water for our parents and instead of bringing the water home, we would play for hours together!! Margaret, I will miss our chats and visits in NY and San Francisco. Rest now Margaret and one day I hope to see you again
