Rita Towey née Higgins,

Ashland House, Lung, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon - June 8th, 2023 - peacefully in her 88th year, with her family by her side in the loving care of Eithne and all the staff of Oakwood Nursing Home, Ballaghaderreen

Pre-deceased by her husband Andrew and daughter Ann.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her son John, daughters Mary and Susan Allen (Dublin), grandchildren Andrew, Tori, Amy and Katie, sister Delia Keogh (Birmingham), son-in-law Ken, sister-in-law Winnie Higgins, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Rita will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Wednesday morning to St. Nathy’s Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to Kilcolman Cemetery.
