James Heneghan,

Chicago and formerly of Seangort, Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo - passed away on Sunday May 14, 2023.

Beloved husband of the late Dolores; loving father of Mary Pat (Joseph) Kohberger, Eileen (Brian) Stout, Thomas (Robin) Heneghan and James (Mary Kay) Heneghan; adoring grandpa of Jimmy Kohberger, Murray Heneghan, Ted Heneghan, Finn Heneghan and Betsy Heneghan; uncle of Kevin (Erin) Heneghan; great uncle to Harper Roisin Heneghan; fond brother to Pat (Nora) Heneghan, Eileen Heneghan and Nancy Heneghan (Srah, Tourmakeady). Preceeded in death by brother Thomas Heneghan (Srah, Tourmakeady), sisters Mary Dorney and Catherine Heneghan; sisters-in-law, Nora Heneghan and Mary Lou Smith.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge.

Funeral Friday, family and friends are asked to meet at St. Celestine Catholic Church, 3020 N. 76th Ct. in Elmwood Park for Mass at 10:00 a.m.

Interment All Saints Cemetery.
