Elly, Clogher, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - suddenly at his family home on 9th May 2023.

Predeceased by his parents John and Bridgie Monaghan, brother Willie, Baby John and Baby Annette.

Beloved husband of Fiona (née Cafferkey – formerly of Cambridge and Mulranny)and dear father to  Padraig, Holly, Heidi, Seán and Mikey.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family – brothers Tony (St. Louis, U.S.A.), Michael (Connecticut, U.S.A) and Owen (Elly, Clogher), sisters Mary Moreira (Galway), Noreen White (Tullamore, Co. Offaly), Bridie Guildea (Tullamore, Co. Offaly) and Teresa Fallon (Elly, Clogher), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 7.30.

Funeral will arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Tirrane on Friday for Funeral Mass at 3 o’clock followed by burial in Faulmore Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing at 3 o'clock on Friday on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with all other funeral services available for viewing at 9 o'clock on Friday evening.
