Beloved husband of Kathleen (née Doherty), loving father of Mary (Kevin) Marks, Dominick (Amy), Ann, & John (Patty); cherished Grandpa of Brian, Eamon (fiancée Catherine Kells), Colleen Marks; Declan (fiancée Maureen O’Donnell), Brendan, Michael, Shaun, Liam, John Michael & Daniel; dear brother of Mary (the late Vincent) O’Malley, Annie Nora (the late Paddy) Gannon, Teresa (the late John) Feehan, Michael (Anne), Patsy (Jimmy) Tuohy, Dominic (Ann) & the late Padraic; fond cousin & uncle of many; US Army veteran; Lifelong member of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart; proud member of IBEW Local #134 for over fifty years.
Visitation at Cooney's Funeral Home, 635 Busse Highway, Park Ridge, Chicago on Monday from 3pm until 8pm.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Church, 6020 West Ardmore, Chicago on Tuesday morning at 10am followed by interment in All Saints cemetery.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Patrick Fathers or the Irish American Heritage Centre.
