Nora Healy nee Meenaghan,

Pullathomas, Ballina, Co. Mayo - at the Sonas Nursing Home, Belmullet on 5th of May 2023.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy Healy, her parents Anthony and Annie Meenaghan, brothers Jimmy, Tommy, Sean, Tony, Phil, Padraic, Joseph and Michael, sisters Mary, Elish and Margaret. 

Nora will be sadly missed by her loving family, brother Willie, sisters Kathleen and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and kind neighbours who were so good to Nora.

May Nora’s Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Nora’s remains will be reposing at Healy’s Funeral Home, Barnatra on Sunday, 7th May from 5pm until 7pm.

Removal from her family home in Gorthmelia (residence of her brother Willie Meenaghan) to Christ the King Church, Aughoose on Monday for Mass at 12 noon.

Interment immediately afterwards in Pullathomas Cemetery.

Fresh platters of delicious salmon; the most fascinating collection of pretty teapots to wonder at; barns filled with loved kittens she'd be watching over; incredible dogs with even more incredible names (Princess F a particular highlight). And when we were a bit older, a proper cheeky laugh and a wink at occasions that always made you feel loved and looked out for. Nora, you were a beautiful soul. I am so sad you are gone from this world and so sorry we didn't get more time when you were well to have enjoyed that wonderful cheeky humour as adults - I know it would have been so much fun. May your sweet and lovely soul rest in peace with Uncle Tommy now. Can you please be sure to have a drink with my lovely Nana up there too - I know how she's delighted to see you xxxx
