Michael Collins,

23 Castlehill, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Lisnageragh, Ballymoe, Co. Galway - unexpectedly at Mayo University Hospital - May 2nd 2023.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Nora, his infant brother John and his wife Catherine (Kitty). 

Michael will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Kevin and Declan (Castlerea). Brothers Martin (Frenchpark) and Jimmy (Lisnageragh), his sisters Brigid (Hannelly, Castlerea) and Mary (Connolly, Galway), his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh's Funeral Home, Castlerea on Thursday evening from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Funeral arriving at St. Patrick's Church, Castlerea on Friday morning for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Castlerea.

So sorry to hear of Michael's passing. I worked with Michael and Christy Hannelly on the pipelines in Dorking, 1969. Michael and Christy great friends of mime and managed to visit both of them when I was on holiday in Ireland.
