Desmond (Des) Treacy,

Donnybrook, Dublin & formerly of St. Enda's Villas & Abbey Street, Ballina, Co. Mayo (15th April 2023) - peacefully at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin. 

Des, predeceased by his parents Howard and Bridie, his brother Andrew and his sister, Kathleen.

Husband of Mary and loving father of Howard (Ballina), Thelma (Maynooth), Natasha (Dublin), Sheila (Leixlip) and Warren (Spain).

He will be sadly missed by his wife and adoring children, daughter-in-law Angela, sons-in-law Doug, Colum and Colin, grandchildren Tara, Adam, Abigail and Amelia, sisters Angela, Helen, Fidelma and Joan, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Paddy, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Wednesday evening from 5 o'clock with removal at 6.30pm to St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11.30am followed by a private cremation.

Des’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org
