Martin Connolly,

Shannagh, Glenamaddy, Co. Galway and formerly of Risca, Newport, Wales - peacefully on April 15th.

Pre-deceased by his siblings Bridie Kelly (Galway City), Mary Donnellan (Kilnalappa), Nellie Comer (Shannagh) and John (Shannagh); nephew Bernie Donnellan and niece Eleanor Comer.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends in Ireland and Wales.

May Martin's gentle soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at Divilly’s Funeral Home, Glenamaddy on Tuesday evening from 6.30 until 8 o’clock followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the old cemetery, Glenamaddy.

Mass will be broadcast on local Church radio and will be live-streamed on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/Divillys-Funeral-Undertakers-105150138415781/.

So sorry I’m Catherine dyer was Rattigan. My dad was Micheal Rattigan My grandad was Jim Rattigan and Martin come to wales to get away from the horrible bombing my grandad Jim Rattigan was very good friends with Martin and I loved just few doors away from Martin in station road risca I’m so sorry for ur loss lovly man taken to soon hope to get in contact to family my address is 2 Belvedere Terrace, Fernlea, Risca, Gwent, Np11 6FS as I moved now but still in constant with family Ann Sharon John Micheal my dad so plz any family this get to the plz message me xxxxx
