Angela Joyce nee Roberts,

Curr, Maam, Co. Galway and late of Sancta Maria, Leenane.

Slipped away peacefully on Wednesday the 5th of April 2023, surrounded by her heartbroken family and in the tender care of the staff of The Galway Hospice Foundation.

Predeceased by her dear parents Alfie and Sally and recently by her beloved twin sister Margaret (Mags) in 2021.

It is with broken hearts and many tears we announce the passing of our beloved Angela who after a courageous and brave battle has sadly left us.

Cherished and much loved, she will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend Paraic, by her heartbroken children Aoife, Aisling, Tomás and Seán, adored Nana of Paddy, Anthony, Katie and Joseph, and remembered fondly by her childrens partners Darryl, Darius and Conor. Forever in our hearts, Angela will be sadly missed by her loving sisters Mary Counihan (Gort), Martina Donnelly (Rosscahill), brother Liam (Australia) and by her aunt Mary Clancy (Moycullen), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, wonderful neighbours, loyal friends and by the extended Joyce and Roberts families.

“When you feel a little lonely and all you want is me, just place a hand upon your heart and know that’s where I’ll be. Rest In Peace Angela.”

Angela will lie in repose in Maam Community Centre (H91P29P) on Sunday, April 9th from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock.

Funeral Cortege will arrive at the Church of the Nativity, Kilmilkin on Monday, April 10th for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Angela will be laid to rest afterwards in Breenane Cemetery.

The family wish to thank most sincerely all the doctors, nurses and carers for the love and care given to Angela. Special thanks to the amazing staff at The Galway Hospice and all the wonderful people who helped during her illness. It breaks our hearts to have to let her go, but we know she is at peace now.
