John Joe McHale,

Doovin, Ross, Castlebar, Co. Mayo - peacefully at the Mayo Hospice Castlebar on April 1st 2023.

Predeceased by his wife Ena, brother Thomas, parents Margaret and James and grandnephew James Mc Hale.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, son Noel, daughter-in-law Lorna, granddaughters Sophie and Erica, sister Delia, brothers Michael and Martin, brother-in-law Jim, sisters-in-law Nora, Annette and Marie , nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace John Joe.

Remains reposing at his niece Jackie and Philip Blake’s residence in Doovin, Parke (F23 CY88) on Monday (April 3th) from 4pm to 7pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.15am for Funeral Mass at 11am in the Holy Family Church, Parke.

John Joe will be laid to rest afterwards in Turlough cemetery.

Please adhere to the current Covid-19 guidelines including social distancing, wearing of face masks and no hand shaking. The family would like to thank you for your cooperation and consideration at this difficult time.

We had the pleasure of meeting John in 2019 when we stayed next door to him in Gleeson’s Cottage by The Lake. We had such nice conversations with him and wrote to him to keep in touch. Then in 2021 we stayed at Gleeson’s again and had more chats with John. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Johnny. Out thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family.
