James Joseph (Ginger) McElroy

74 St. John’s Road, Old Trafford and formerly of Kiltycreighton, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

March 12th 2023 - Peacefully in Manchester, in the loving care of Abbotsford Care Home, Whalleyrange, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Mary (née Corrigan), his parents James & Bridget and his brother Vincent.

James will be sadly missed by his brother Paddy (Ballaghaderreen), his sister Theresa (Castlerea), his nephew Martin and his wife Bernie, their children Sandra, Lee, Lauren and Conor, Lee’s wife Stephanie and their son Tadhg, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May James Joseph’s Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

James Funeral Mass will take place on Friday (March 24th) in St. Alphonsos’ Church, Ayres Road, Old Trafford, Manchester at 10.30am.

James will repose at Mahon’s Funeral Home, Boyle, on Sunday (March 26th) from 5.30pm until 7pm.

Removal on Monday to St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with burial afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live-streamed via webcam on www.boyleparish.ie
