Maureen Horkan née Maye,

Knocklyon, Dublin 16 and Horkan’s Orwell S.C., formerly of Kilkelly, Co. Mayo - peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the tender loving care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harolds Cross on the 15th March 2023. 

Beloved wife and best friend of Danny, loving and much loved mother of Darragh and Sinéad. Maureen will be forever loved and dearly missed by her husband, son, daughter, son-in-law Brian, her adored grandchildren Lucy and Cillian, sisters Anne (Lafferty) and Kay (Hallahan), brother Tommy and Luke, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives, the staff of Horkan’s and her many friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Larry Massey Funeral Directors, Unit 3, Eden Centre, Rathfarnham (D16 VO46) on Tuesday evening from 5pm – 7pm. 

Removal on Wednesday afternoon to St. Colmcille’s Church, Knocklyon (D16 R2P7) arriving for 1pm Requiem Mass followed by burial in Kilmashogue cemetery.
