Mary McDermott nee Grennan,

Cloontarsna, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Kilmovee, Co. Mayo. March 13th, 2023 - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Pre-deceased recently by her husband Michael John, her parents and sister Bridie. 

Mary, loving mother to John (Clare), Paddy (Castlerea), Bernie Ward (Castlerea), Kathleen Steele (Drogheda), Anne and Mary (Ballina), Michael and Kieran (Castlerea).

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, her sons-in-law Frank and George, daughters-in-law Mary, Annette, Ailish and Joanne, her adored grandchildren Sineád, Ciara, Donál, Aisling, Darren, Niamh, Shane, Clair, Orla, Oisín, Aaron, Adam and Lorcan, her great-grandchildren Donnacha, Edie and Leo, also by her brother Tommy and her cousin Seamus Duffy (Kilmovee), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home Castlerea, on Wednesday evening from 4 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to St. Brigid’s Church, Cloonbonniffe.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
