Sister Josephine Shiels,

Convent of Mercy, Ballaghaderreen and Gurteen and formerly of Corhober, Ballymote, Co. Sligo - peacefully, at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Carrick Road, Boyle, Co. Roscommon on 11th March 2023.

Predeceased by her sister Sr. Kathleen.

Rest In Peace.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Bridie (Berreen) Derroon, Nancy (Walker) Scotland, Sr. Attracta and Rose (Rouse) Ballina, her brothers Michael (Corhober) and Paddy (U.S.A.), nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, The Sisters of Mercy (Western Province), relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Sister Josephine will repose at the Perry Funeral Home, Ballymote (F56 TK20) on Monday, 13th of March from 5 pm to 6.30 pm followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote to arrive at 7 pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Columba's cemetery, Ballymote.

The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Ballymote Parish website https://ballymoteparish.org/webcam/.
