Denis (Denny) Neary,

Darralagh, Bangor Erris, Co. Mayo - peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital Castlebar on the 10th March 2023.

Predeceased by his Parent’s Frank and Catherine, son Francis, grandson Kieran Monaghan, brothers Paddy, Frank and Jim.

Denny will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, sons David and Denis, daughters Yvonne and Aine, grandchildren Thomas, Paul, Sean, Martina, Claudia, Natalie, Kyle, James, Luke and Mark, brothers Martin, Sean, Eddie and Colm, sisters Bridie, Mary, Vera and Margaret, sons-in-law John and James, daughters-in-law Anne and Trina, brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May Denny’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Remains Reposing at Daly’s Funeral Home, Bangor Erris on Monday evening from 5.30pm until 7.30pm with removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Bangor Erris - arriving at 8 o'clock.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 2.30pm with burial afterwards in Bangor Erris cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on Daly’s Funeral Director’s Facebook page.

I'm truly in shock on learning of Denny's passing. I met him in 1999 on hearing of his innovative and groundbreaking development in Bangor Erris, Co. Mayo of 23 detached luxurious houses on formerly riverside grazing land ... in fact, so impressed I bought three of them.
Despite minor conflicts, we worked them out amicability and remained staunch, likeminded allies.
