Peter (P.A) Lydon,

Kilkelly, Co. Mayo - peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Ballinamore House Nursing Home, Kiltimagh.

Predeceased by his baby son Peadar, mother Kathleen and father Anthony.  

Mourned by his daughters Joan and Grainne, their mother Mary, by Joan’s fiancé Mark and by Grainne’s fiancé Eoghan, his grandchildren Iollan & Elody, sister Noeleen and brother Matt. 

He will be greatly missed by his relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Peter’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at the Marian Funeral Home, Knock F12A726 on Sunday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.  

Funeral cortege will arrive at St. Celsius Church, Kilkelly on Monday morning for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in Culmore Cemetery, Kilkelly.

For me he was a character a genius a man ahead of his time hugely talented patient and a lovely gentleman never in a hurry travelled millions of miles in all weathers to help everyone and had time for a chat and a cup of tea along the way.
