Susan O’Donnell née McDonnell,

Hendon, London and formerly of Fr. Mulhern Crescent, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully, at her family home in London, surrounded by her loving family on 27th February 2023.

Susan will be sadly missed by her loving children, Anthony, Ceilí, Laura, Naomh, Eoin, Cian and Orlaith andher adored grandchildren, Aoife, Jack, Tiernan and Oisín. Beloved daughter of Gusty and Mary McDonnell and dear sister to her siblings, Angela and husband Michael, Tony and wife Maria, Tracey and husband Francis and Hailey and husband Michael, and nephews and nieces, aunties, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday (March 8th)  evening at 7 o’clock at the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Hendon, 4 Egerton Garden, London NW4 4BA.

Remains will repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Friday (March 10th)  evening from 5 o’clock until 7.30pm.

Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet on Saturday (March 11th)  for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on Saturday at 12 noon on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with all other services available for viewing on Saturday evening at 8pm. 

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to “Cara Iorrais” c/o McDonnell Funeral Directors, Belmullet.
