Della McWalter (née Kelly),

Ballyhenry, Kilmaine, Co. Mayo and formerly of Moylough, Co. Galway (21 February 2023) - peacefully at Friars Lodge Nursing Home, Ballinrobe surrounded by her family after a long illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Mick and Delia, sister of her late brothers Eamonn (Galway) and Mickey (Chicago, USA).

She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 59 years Paul, loving daughters Alberta, Patria and Claire, sons Paul and Adrian, sons-in-law John (Long), Jim (Ó h-Uiginn) and Michael (Dreelan), daughters-in-law Marie (Mannion) and Suzie (McWalter), cherished grandchildren Conor, Jack, Luke, Tom, Aoibhín, Éanna and Sam, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Della rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence (F31TN28) on Thursday, 23 February from 2.00 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. (otherwise house private).

Removal from her residence on Friday morning to St Patrick’s Church, Kilmaine for Funeral Mass at 12.00pm and afterwards a private service in Shannon Crematorium.
