Devoted and loving father to Nuala, Garry, Lorraine, Darren and Johnny.

Sadly missed by his partner Mary O’Brien, sister Rita Holmes (Moygownagh), brother Martin (Mullingar), Nuala Carey Snr. (Ballina), sons-in-law Micheal Carroll and Joe Moran, daughters-in-law Breda Egan and Sarah Carey, adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Katie & John Carey and sisters Nellie Murphy (Moygownagh) and Kathleen Allabyrne (Sydney).

May he Rest in Peace.

John’s remains will repose at Hiney’s Funeral Home, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo (eircode F26 DH95) this Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St. Cormac’s Church, Moygownagh (eircode F26X389). 

Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
