Ellen M. Lavelle (McAvoy),

Arlington, Massachusetts and Ballinasmalla, Claremorris, Co. Mayo.

Ellen passed away peacefully on February 9, 2023 with her beloved husband of 60 years Patrick by her side.

Daughter of the late Arthur and Mary McAvoy.

Predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Arthur and Kay McAvoy of Arlington.

Loving sister-in-law to Mary and the late James Brady of Arlington, Mike Lavelle of Maine, Bridget and the late Frank Lavelle of Arlington, the late Peter and Marie Lavelle of Brookline and the late Vince and Breda Lavelle of Brockton.

Cherished aunt to many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She also leaves many extended family members and friends. She was a caring and dedicated friend to all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Monday, February 13th at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington from 4-7 pm (9-11pm Irish time).

Ellen's Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Agnes' Church on Tuesday, February 14th at 11:30 am (4:30pm Irish time).

The Mass will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend: https://www.cparl.org/

Burial will follow in Saint Paul's Cemetery in Arlington.
