Frances Cooney (nee Goonan),

Edinburgh; Doohoma and formerly of Tallaghan Bawn, Co Mayo.

Frances died suddenly but peacefully at home in Edinburgh on the 4th January 2023.

Predeceased by her son Eddie, daughter Rita, son-in-law Willie-Paul and grandson Shaun.

Sadly mourned by her loving husband Tony, children Brian, Mary, Pack, Tony, John, Roseanne and Bridie, her sons-in-law John, Martin and Gerry and her daughter-in-law, Shirley, her adored 26 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

A Mass will be held at St Joseph RC Church, Broomhouse, Edinburgh at 6pm on Friday evening.

Frances will be reposing at her daughter Mary’s house in Doohoma (Eircode F26 P5W7) from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday, 22nd January with removal to St Pius X Church, Doohoma arriving 7pm.

Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Monday followed by burial at Doohoma cemetery.
