Dr. Irene O’Kane née Connolly,

Maryland, Castlebar and late of Bandon, Co. Cork (8th January 2023) - peacefully at her residence.

Predeceased by her husband David and her daughter Caroline.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons David, Roger, Coleman and William, brother John, grandchildren Serica, Aislinn, Ruadhán, Barra, Naoise and Faolán, daughters-in-law Anne-Marie, Ailish and Katrina, brother-in-law Philip, nephews, nieces, grand-nieces, grand- nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace Irene

Remains reposing at her residence, Maryland, Castlebar (F23 AF54) on Tuesday from 5pm until 7pm.

Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.45am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Irene will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

Irene’s funeral Mass will be streamed live at http://www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or listened to in Castlebar on the Parish Radio Channel 105.3FM
