Michael McGinty,

Glassilaun, Currane, Achill - peacefully, in his 90th year, at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on the 6th of January 2023.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, his parents John & Mary McGinty, his twin sister Kathleen, his sisters Julia, Mary (Sissy Joyce), brothers Mark, Martin & John niece Marie, and his nephew John (London)

Deeply regretted by his daughters Siobhán (Julia Ann), Mary, Cathy, Michelle and son Michael John. Also missed by his son in laws Patsy & Seán and grandchildren, Cliona, Mark, Alanna, Stephen, David, Dylan & Amy and his great grandchildren, Aoife, Tegan, Kate, Alison & Tommy, his sister-in-law Rose and nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the hospital morgue on Tuesday, 10th of January from 2:00pm with removal at 2:30pm to Casadh an Taoille, Currane (F28 TF68) for reposing from 5:00pm with removal at 6:30pm to Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church, Currane (adjacent). 

Funeral mass on Wednesday, the 11th of January at 11:00am with burial afterwards in Pollranny cemetery.

Funeral mass will be live streamed on Muintir a Chorran Facebook page.
