George Cornwall,

Aras Mathair Phoil, Castlerea and formerly of Clooninsla, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon (January 4th, 2023) - peacefully at Aras Mathair Phoil, Castlerea.

Predeceased by his parents and brothers Edward and Richard. 

Loving brother of May (Glover, Ballymoe), Cyril, Archie, Fred, Christy, and Douglas (Ballinlough), Violet (Jenkinson, UK) and Lucy (Woolley, UK).

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law Brian and Dave, sisters-in-law Brenda and June, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

At Rest

Reposing at McDonagh's Funeral Home, Castlerea on Friday evening from 4 o'clock until 6 o'clock.

Removal from McDonagh's Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.30am to Kiltullagh Church of Ireland, Ballinlough for Funeral Service at 11 o'clock.

Burial afterwards in the Church grounds.

I wish to offer my sincere condolences to the family of George at this sad and difficult time . I would have known George from times gone by . I recall him driving his tractor to town and it was an unusual make and model , I think it was a Leyland , or to give it’s full title made by British Leyland and it was an unusual colour as well , an industrial yellow or similar. My Dad and himself had many a discussion about this very tractor and it’s workings or not as the case maybe . My Dad was always generous with his mechanical advice .
