Owen Sweeney (better known as Sonny),

Doohoma Head - died peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Casltebar.

Predeceased by his infant brother Pat, brother Padraic, and his sister Breege Goonan. 

Beloved husband of Mary née Doherty, Cornhill.

Adored father of Anthony, Catriona, Marie, Jacqueline, Lorraine, Patricia, Collette, Declan, Damien, Raymond and Natalie. 

Sadly missed by sons in law Richard Tesh, John King, Martin Ruddy, Michael Haran, Jackie Coyle, Ritchie Conlon and P.J McDonnell. Daughters in law Imelda (McMahon) Michelle (Gaughan) Martina (Bukovanova) Laura (White), his brothers Tom and Ted and his sister in law Teresa Brogan, his 23 grandchildren, nephews, nieces and a large circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his residence on Saturday from 1pm to 5pm and 1pm to 5pm on Sunday. 

Removal Sunday on evening to St Pius X Church at 8pm.
Funeral mass will be held at 12 noon, Monday with burial afterwards in Doohoma Cemetery.
