Patrick J.(PJ) Doohan,

Woodlawn, New York and formerly of Cranmore, Carracastle, Co. Mayo - died suddenly on Thursday 22/12/22 – aged 69 

PJ was predeceased by his beloved wife Deborah A. Doohan.

Father of Brian (Aileen), Kelly (Sean), Tara (Brian), Tracey (Brian) and Deirdre (David).

He was the brother to Josephine (Bobby), Michael and Helena (Seamus). He truly enjoyed being with 9 grandchildren; Aileen, Connor, Brigid, Fiona, Katie Mae, Seamus, Allie, Evelyn, and Easton. He was beloved by his many nieces and nephews. 

He was born and raised in Cranmore, Carracastle, County Mayo, before emigrating to NY in 1973. He spent many years in East Durham, New York raising his family. He was a long-time member of the St. Mary's, Our Lady of Knock Parish. In his younger days he was an avid golfer, a proud Mayo Man, a great man for stories, and was always up on the latest goings on and news on both sides of the Atlantic. 

A wake will be held at Hodder Farenga Funeral Home, 899 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704 on Wednesday evening December 28th from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Barnabas Church,409E 241st Street, Bronx, NY 10470, on Thursday morning December 29th at 10.45. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
