Sister Mary Alphonsus Moran,

Assisi House, 600 Red Hill Road, Aston PA19014, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. and formerly of Baralty, Glenamoy, Ballina, Co. Mayo - died peacefully in her 92nd Year, surrounded by her Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia on 29th November 2022.

Predeceased by her parents John and Molly, sister Teresa Collins (Ballycastle) and her brother, Martin (Oxford, England).

Beloved sister of Margaret (Florida, U.S.A.), Bridget (Boston), Anthony (Oxford, England) and Patrick (Dublin), her Community of Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Funeral services will be held in Assisi House, 600 Red Hill Road, Aston, Pennsylvania on Friday, 2nd December 2022 and will be livestreamed.

A Christian Wake will be held at 9.30am, followed by viewing.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am followed by burial in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.

I remember very fondly Sr. Alphonsus' visits to my mother Bridgie ( nee Conroy) when she was home on holidays. They went to school together in Glenamoy. She was a lovely warm lady.
