Sr Eucharia Maguire RJM , 20th  November 2022, peacefully at Holy Family Residence, Roebuck, Dublin 14.

Pre-deceased by her parents Louis and Julia Maguire, her sisters Sr Maureen, Cara and Ann Mac Gabhann. 

Deeply regretted by her brother Gerard and sister in law Noreen, her sister Sheila Stritch, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, her Jesus and Mary Sisters, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Errew House, 110 Goatstown Rd, on Tuesday evening from 4 pm, concluding with evening prayer at 5.30 pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 8 am. in the Convent Chapel, Errew House, Goatstown Rd, followed by burial at Jesus and Mary Cemetery, Gortnor Abbey, Crossmolina at approx 1 pm.

May she rest in peace.

Sister Eucharia taught me in Standard 4 at Saint Patricks Convent School in Wainuiomata in 1972, a wonderful teacher and one of my favorites. We loved her reading to us while we sat on the mat doing our crochet. She would listen to the news on the radio about the war in Northern Ireland in the afternoon and we would hear her say "Sweet Lord". She had long blonde hair hidden by her veil but when the wind blew her veil, we would catch a glimpse of it. Sometimes she would let us plait it. Such fond memories of you Sister Eucharia. Resting now in the arms of our Lord ?

Sister Eucharia RJM taught my two daughters when she was here in New Zealand many years ago at S.Patrick's School Christchurch. Sr Eucharia was well respected by all, and an amazing teacher who was much loved by all. I served on the School Board of Governors for a period and have some delightful photographs of Sr Eucharia that I have recently scanned. I would be happy to email these to her relatives
