Margaret Kelly née Flanagan,

Kilgeever, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo - peacefully at her home with her family by her side on October 28th, 2022.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving husband Paddy, children Vincent (Ballina), Margaret Creaven (Ballinasloe), Peter (Westport), and Brendan (Newbridge), daughters-in-law Deirdre, Siobhan and Jane Eva, son-in-law Paddy, sister Anne (Blackburn), brother John (Preston), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended Kelly & Flanagan families, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Margaret will lie in repose at her home (F28 AE37) in Kilgeever on Saturday (Oct. 29th) from 5pm until 7.30pm.

Removal on Sunday at 10.45am to arrive St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh at 11.15am for 11.30am Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in Kilgeever cemetery.

House private on Sunday morning please.

So very sorry to hear about the sad passing of Margaret Kelly, my sincerest sympathies to all the Kelly family. I worked with Margaret (or Mrs Kelly as we all knew her) in the kitchen in Old Head Hotel in the late eighties. I was a young teenager at the time and to me she was a real motherly figure in my life at the time, I used to love when she was working the morning shift as she always made sure I had a good big breakfast before I started the days work and in the evenings she always kept a slice of my favourite dessert for me! Having just found out that she passed away and having seen her photo brought tears to my eyes even after so many years. I have so many fond memories of her, it's impossible to put into words in such a short space but she was such a wonderful lady, full of love and compassion. A gentle and kind soul with a heart of gold. Ni bheidh a leithid arís ann. May you rest in peace Mrs Kelly, you will always live on in the hearts of those who knew you.
